Detsky Mir online store will soon be profitable

The Detsky Mir online store is gaining momentum and will soon reach operating profit. This will happen for the first time, by the end of this year, said Vladimir Chirakhov, CEO of the company, at the Retail Business Russia & CIS 2014 summit.

Detsky Mir has been selling online since 2010. By the end of 2014, the retailer's revenue from this trade channel will reach RUB 500 million. Despite a noticeable increase in the indicator (by 50% compared to last year), the share of e-commerce "Detsky Mir" is still 1% of total sales.
