Intersport increases the number of stores in Russia by three times

The Finnish retailer Kesko, which manages the Intersport chain, wants to open 34 stores in Russia under the Intersport Run & Fit (IR&F) and The Athlete`s Foot (TAF) brands in four years, and thus triple the number of its sports stores in Russia.

Two IR&F stores with an area of ​​approximately 250-270 sq. m have already been opened in Moscow and St. Petersburg, they represent almost 6 thousand items of goods in four directions - for running, fitness, swimming and alpine skiing, designed for professional athletes. The Intersport network includes more than 5300 stores, mostly franchised, in 39 countries of the world. Intersport has 17 own stores in Russia and ranks eighth among sports retailers in terms of turnover after Sportmaster, Adidas, Decathlon, Nike, Triesport, Sportlandia and Vysshaya League.
