Cdek.Shopping Research: 27,2% of Russians Buy Counterfeit Shoes

More than a third of Russians are ready to wear fakes of famous brands, - analysts from Cdek.Shopping came to the conclusion during an online survey, which involved 3 thousand respondents throughout Russia, men and women aged 18 years and older. The research data is cited by RBC Life.

During the survey

· More than 42% of Russians admitted that they buy only genuine products from well-known manufacturers;

· 34,6% of respondents noted that they do not disdain counterfeits;

· 18,8% of survey participants refuse to buy famous brands because they cannot determine whether the product is original or not.

It was possible to find out that about 32,7% of Russians keep replica accessories in their wardrobe and 27,2% of them have counterfeit shoes. Every fifth respondent wears pseudo-branded outerwear.

Analysts have identified the most popular brands among counterfeits. In the ranking of brands, counterfeit designs of which are most often encountered, Louis Vuitton leads:

· Nike, Reebok, Adidas -19,5%;

· Gucci — 10,9%;

· Yves Saint Laurent - 11,2%;

· Louis Vuitton —22,3%;

· Prada — 9,6%;

· Chanel — 17,8%;

· Balenciaga - 8,7%.
