Focus Technologies analysts note that traffic in fashion retail stores in the capital from May 30 to June 12 turned out to be 2% higher than the same period last year, the number of checks for the same period increased by 12%, the growth in turnover amounted to 32%, - writes Kommersant.
The growth in turnover, according to analysts, is associated with an increase in conversion and a rise in the price of goods.
Meanwhile, in the spring of this year, the attendance of shopping centers and fashion retail lagged behind the figures of the spring of last year. The decrease in shopping activity this spring is associated with the closure of stores of a number of popular international brands and a general decrease in consumer interest due to the onset of the crisis.
In May, fashion retail traffic, according to Focus Technologies, lagged behind last year's level by 25%, the number of checks - by 19%, and turnover - by 5%. Mikhail Vasiliev, Head of Research at Focus Technologies, attributes the June growth to deferred demand: “After the consumer rush in the early days of the crisis, many buyers cut their spending, and now they have a desire for new purchases.” The President of Zenden Group also notes the growth in revenue in his network in the past two weeks.
