Inventor Stephen Kaufman has developed an unusual Quikiks shoe that allows you to wear shoes without the help of your hands or horn. According to the author, the novelty will make life easier for people who have health difficulties.
Quikiks has a retractable heel counter that comes off as soon as you push the heel onto it - after that you can safely put your foot in.
Kaufman began developing Quikiks at a time when his son was diagnosed with scoliosis, he was forced to wear a special corset and could not bend down. The inventor took more than five years to create the final model of the block and dozens of prototypes.
Kaufman has already conducted a successful fundraising campaign to raise funds. Quikiks is expected to go into mass production early next year.
