In the fall-winter 2020/21 season, all shoe models in the collection of the German brand Jana are made from recycled plastic bottles collected from the ocean. So the German brand of comfortable women's shoes with increased completeness H expresses its solidarity with the policy of responsible production, which adheres to an increasing number of fashion brands.
“In recent years, Jana has focused on environmental issues. In shoe manufacturing, various components such as lining materials, insoles, shoe laces and mesh fabric are made from recycled PET bottles. The company will continue to focus on sustainability issues and will explore which shoe parts can be replaced with recycled materials. However, replacing the material as part of the environmental program will certainly not affect the look and feel of the shoe, ”comments Michael Romberg, Managing Partner at Jana Shoes.
In the Jana spring-summer 2020 collection, 65 shoe models are presented that are produced, including using materials derived from recycled plastic, and in the fall-winter 2020/21 brand collection, all models are made using such materials.
The collection includes shoes with steady heels, boots, ankle boots, boots, sneakers and sneakers. The brand's target audience is women with increased fullness of the foot (H). Jana focuses on ensuring shoe comfort by adding removable insoles, offering a soft anatomical insole with memory effect (Jana Relax) and an ultra-flexible sole (Soft Flex).
Prices for “eco-friendly” collection models range from 4000 to 6000 per pair.
Jana is a regular participant in the Euro Shoes Premiere Collection shoe exhibition in Moscow.
