JD.com collects Russian children to school

The largest Chinese direct online sales company JD.com launched a special campaign “Back to School” in Russia, whose target audience is schoolchildren, students and those who planned to buy electronics in the last weeks of August. The action involves designer shoes and accessories, as well as seven branded products, including smartphone and tablet models, accessories for gadgets. 

The action is carried out in two stages, so users have the opportunity to directly influence the value of the selected product. At the first stage, which will last until August 23, users will be able to vote for any product they like - the number of likes for each offer will affect the final discount size on the sales start day, August 24. 

The promotion will last until August 31, all offers will be implemented at prices set according to the voting results. Earlier, JD.com has already held special promotions for Russian consumers. So, throughout July there was an action dedicated to a special offer in the fashion segment from JD Marketplace. Weekly on the site, the range of products sold at a special price was updated; at the same time, a user competition for the best fashion image was held on the social networks of JD.com in Russia.
