India, the world's most populous country, is on track to become the next frontier for luxury, according to a recent Barclays report.
India currently accounts for only about 2% of global luxury goods sales. But Barclays estimates the market will grow rapidly at an annual rate of 15% to 25% over the next seven years to reach between €23 billion and €38 billion, driven by a growing middle class.
