Princess Gauravi Kumari is the co-founder of the PDKF store in Jaipur, an online marketplace that showcases products created by the talented women of India, supported by the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation, the mother of the young royal. In 2022, Gauravi Kumari starred for Indian Vogue, and the number of subscribers to her blog on a social network banned in Russia totals 272 thousand.

“We are thrilled to welcome Princess Gauravi Kumari to the Jimmy Choo family. Her influence and vision resonate with our brand's ethos of combining tradition with a modern perspective,” said Jimmy Choo creative director Sandra Choi.

In turn, Gauravi Kumari accepted the brand's offer with great enthusiasm, noting that she had always “admired its vision of sophisticated glamor and timeless elegance.”

Jimmy Choo has opened two boutiques in Mumbai and is targeting strong growth in this market.

India, the world's most populous country, is on track to become the next frontier for luxury, according to a recent Barclays report.

India currently accounts for only about 2% of global luxury goods sales. But Barclays estimates the market will grow rapidly at an annual rate of 15% to 25% over the next seven years to reach between €23 billion and €38 billion, driven by a growing middle class.
