The Russian Kari shoe network is going to expand its presence in the regions through a franchise. Previously, all stores in the network, and there are already more than 800 in Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus and Poland, were their own.
Investments in the opening of one franchise point amount to about 4,5 million rubles, while the company promises that the invested funds will return to within 1,5-2 years. The top manager emphasized that development through partners will only occur in cities that are not part of the retailer’s own plans to open new stores.
Recall that the Kari brand was founded in 2012 by Igor Yakovlev, the former owner of the Eldorado electronics network. At the end of 2014, the company's turnover amounted to 16 billion rubles, which is 92% more than a year earlier.
