Currently, contract manufacturing is one of the priority areas of activity, as noted in the Annual Report of OJSC “PF“ Spartak ”for the 2015 year, which was recently adopted by shareholders and was published on the company's website.
The company began production of shoes under a contract in the year 2015, having agreed to cooperate with El Tempo. As a result of cooperation, a collection was developed and shoes in the amount of more than 13 thousand pairs were produced. Also in 2015, one of the largest federal networks in Russia, Respect, placed an order at the Spartak factory.
Meanwhile, the report notes that the 2015 year was one of the most difficult for the light industry. The decline in the value of the Russian currency, the decline in the level of well-being of the population and purchasing power negatively affected shoe sales. The situation was aggravated by significant inventories in stores, which forced the customers of the Spartak factory to reconsider the volume of their orders in a smaller direction.
Spartak footwear is not so widely known outside the Volga region, and the traditional customers of the factory, small entrepreneurs, were most exposed to the economic crisis.
In 2015, the company was able to fulfill the task of expanding sales channels. The updated assortment and balanced pricing policy interested major players in the shoe market: the Lamoda online store, Erta, the largest regional distributor, and El Tempo federal wholesalers. Kapika. Shoiberg.
