KEDDO will support dancers
The British brand of youth footwear KEDDO together with the Dance.ru portal launched a large-scale reality project "Casting".
Since November 19, with the support of KEDDO, the reality project began on the first federal portal for dance lovers. 10 participants will compete for the title of best dancer. They have already won the qualifying rounds in which 84 people took part. The winner of the show will receive an advertising contract with KEDDO and the opportunity to speak at the ceremony of awarding the Dance.RUssian Awards 2013.
Every Saturday for 5 weeks, master classes by recognized choreographers working in different styles will be held at well-known dance floors in Moscow, after which each participant will have to repeat the link learned with the teacher. At the end of the day, the judges will give their marks. The jury consisted of Dance.ru executives and Analpa art director Evgeny Nazarov.
Viewers of the project also have the right to vote: on dance.ru everyone has the opportunity to vote for the participant they like.
Initially conceiving "Casting" as a large-scale project, the organizers did not want to be limited to one dance genre. The audience's interest in the project is due not only to the fact that as we approach the denouement, the number of participants will decrease, but also to the originality of each issue: a new issue is a new dance direction.
The organizers dedicated the first issue to house. Filming took place at the World of Arts Center for New Culture. The choreographer of the first day of reality was Pavel Sokolov.
