Vans sneakers are decorated with pearls and stones.

Designer Matthias Gollin used around 2000 pearls and stones to transform a pair of Vans Authentic sneakers from a mass-market product into a unique piece.

It takes eight hours of painstaking handwork to decorate a single pair of sneakers. The presentation of the "precious" sneakers will take place today in Miami. The price for a pair of Mattias Gollin x Vans Authentic sneakers is $750. A year ago, Mattias Gollin decorated Timberland boots with stones.
