Transparent shoes were the hit of Loewe's spring/summer 26 collection.
The first collection by the duo of designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, founders of Proenza Schouler, who recently took over the creative atelier at Loewe after Jonathan Anderson left the brand for Dior, was presented at Paris Fashion Week.
Designers managed to capture the fashion audience's attention with the Spanish luxury brand Loewe, releasing an original shoe collection. Its hit was the transparent kitten heel shoes, paired with brightly colored socks. The color of the socks, visible beneath the transparent uppers, defined the look of the entire shoe.
The same silhouette was also presented in an opaque version, but also in vibrant colors. Here, the shoes, in bright yellow or pink, were paired with black socks, the collar of which created the perfect color contrast with the rich color of the shoes. This created a unique, layered look.
Loewe's Spring/Summer 26 shoe collection also included loafers with spiral tassels and sneakers with uppers that combined different textures.
