At the last Dior show in Paris, the creative director of the men's direction of the brand, Kim Jones, proved that the trend for transparent shoes, which has already been fixed in the segment of women's shoes, can also be relevant for men.
In the spring-summer 2020 collection, which was held in Paris at the Institute of the Arab World, she presented classic retro shoes in a new vision through the use of transparent leather.
If you look from afar, it seems that the Dior logo is present on the top of the shoe, however, the logo is only on the toes of the models, it shines through the transparent leather of the top.
The American artist Daniel Ashram participated in the creation of this collection, thanks to which the famous Dior Saddle Bag was released in silicone and printed on an 3D printer.
Jones also collaborated with the Rimowa luxury luggage brand, also included in the LVMH portfolio, the capsule collection included a rucksack, a hand case and a clutch bag, in a classic Rimowa aluminum lining.
