China increases shoe exports to Russia
According to the Chinese statistical service, in June of this year, footwear exports to Russia from China amounted to $287,2 million, which was a record volume since the beginning of the year.
Russia is China's second footwear export market with a share of 6,7%; the largest importer of Chinese footwear is the United States, which accounts for 25% of the total footwear exports from China.
China supplies rubber and plastic shoes to Russia, which account for 46% of the supply volume, as well as shoes made of genuine leather - 31%.
About 40 stands of manufacturers and brands of shoes and bags from China will be presented at the international exhibition of footwear and accessories Euro Shoes Premiere Collection, which will be held in Moscow at the Expocenter from August 26 to 29.
The professional exhibition is the main platform for presenting current collections of brands from Europe, Asia and Russia, a meeting place for manufacturers and buyers.
