The International Union of Chinese Commercial Organizations and the Middle Urals Development Corporation signed an agreement during the Innoprom-2015 international industrial exhibition in Yekaterinburg, according to which Chinese companies will be attracted to the territory of the Russian-Chinese logistics center.
Dmitry Popov, general director of the Middle Urals Development Corporation, said that to date, preliminary agreements have been reached with the largest Chinese online stores - AliExpress, Taobao, JD.com and other retailers that sell high-tech goods.
According to him, the logistics hub will provide an opportunity for residents of Russia to buy goods on these electronic sites. He also said that the possibility of providing customs benefits will reduce prices and delivery times for customers from Russia.
A joint business park will be built on a plot of 400 thousand square meters. m in the territory of the existing shopping and warehouse complex in Yekaterinburg near the airport Koltsovo. Today, there are already trade and storage facilities on the area of 250 thousand square meters. m. By August of this year will be ready 30 thousand square meters. m
