Chinese companies will release smart and cheap sports shoes

A new generation of smart sneakers will soon replenish the collection of smart things. Xiaomi, a China-based smartphone company, is developing smart running shoes with Li-Ning, a sportswear and equipment company. We are talking about creating sneakers with a chip embedded in the sole, thanks to which the owner of the gadget will be able to receive the necessary information about their workouts. A special application will record the achievements of the runner.

First sales start in China. If the products are successful, smart sneakers will enter other markets. Shoes prices promise to be affordable.

During the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, Li-Ning gained immense popularity. Xiaomi is best known for its cheap mobile phones, which are very similar to Apple or Samsung.
