The Chinese are launching shoe production in Kursk
КThe Eastern Friendship company, founded by a Chinese citizen living in Moscow, plans to launch the production of full-cycle footwear in the Kursk Railway District by the end of the year. The company has already signed a lease agreement for 20 sq. m. meters with APZ -20 and intends to invest more than 60 million rubles in the reconstruction of premises, Kommersant writes.
The plans for the development of production became known following a meeting between Vice-Governor Sergei Starodubtsev and Director of Eastern Friendship LLC Ilona Belyaeva.
The project provides for the production of a full cycle, the raw materials for it must come from China: the upper of the product is supposed to be textile, the sole is cast. The launch of the factory is expected in three months. The full cost of the project has not yet been disclosed.
According to Kartoteka.ru, Eastern Friendship LLC was registered in Kursk on June 1, 2022 with an authorized capital of 10 thousand rubles. The sole founder is Wang Renxi. Ilona Belyaeva is also a director at Novy Horizon LLC, which was registered in Kursk last November to manufacture footwear. However, its sole founder is another Chinese citizen, Xie Haibo.
