Founded in the 80s, American sneaker brand Autry remains true to its style, seemingly untouched by change. Autry's latest collaboration with Japanese Maison Mihara Yasuhiro, first showcased this past January at Paris Fashion Week, only confirmed Autry's commitment to its original direction.
The central place of the joint collection is occupied by the signature sneakers of the American brand Medalist, created in the 80s.
The new interpretation of the silhouette has a larger sole, its upper part has acquired a vintage look due to a slightly worn texture, while the upper of the shoe remains unchanged.
The sneakers are available in men's and women's sizes and come in three color options: black, white and two-tone.
"In an era of constantly changing information and trends, this versatile style is unmatched. Autry's design is timeless and goes against trends, rejecting the dominant approach in the modern fashion industry. I wanted everyone to understand this metaphor by including this sneaker design in my show," commented Mihara Yasuhiro.
