Northern Dreams and 54 Studio are the key ideas that inspired the French designer to create the collection. Models combine a minimalist Scandinavian style and remind of the times of cult parties in the famous New York club. The designer used varnished, snake, metalized, polished leather and even blue velvet.
Michel Vivien born in 1962 in Grenoble, graduated from the National Higher School of Fine Arts (fr. École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts) in Paris. Michelle became a shoe designer by chance: he began to create sketches of shoes for his friends, and when he got a solid portfolio, he got the courage to try his luck at the French company Carel, which specialized in the manufacture of shoes. Michel Vivien remained the designer of Carel for several years, later he collaborated with such brands as: Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Dior, Lanvin, Thierry Mugler and others.
At 1998, the designer came up with the idea of creating his own brand. Today Michel Vivien boutiques are in America, Japan, France, Italy and England.
In Russia, Michel Vivien shoes are exclusively represented in the Rendez-Vous chain of stores and in the online store of this multi-brand retail.
