Lineapelle Fashion Committee Presents Fall-Winter 2026/27 Trends

The fashion committee of the leading Italian international leather and accessories fair Lineapelle has announced the trends in materials for the autumn-winter 2026/27 season. "Materials should become generators of endorphins, carriers of positive emotions, physical and mental."

In the foreground are tactile sensations. The thickness of the materials increases, the naturalness of the leather is emphasized by its natural characteristics, abrasion effects, wrinkles. The leather feels greasy, waxy and creamy, which also visually creates a feeling of softness.

The development of advanced technologies allows experimentation. Leather that can be washed in water at a temperature of up to 40°, textures woven from metal threads appear. Small details make a decisive contribution to aesthetics.

In fashion - everything that glitters - mother-of-pearl effects, discreet shimmers, reflections and subtle variations of light on the leather. Flowing, almost liquid shine. Metals, gelatin paints and very soft naplak with liquid coatings, glossy finishes - everything that evokes associations with the "uneven flow of light on water".

For example, gold, silver and platinum with vintage elegance or chromed aluminum with a cool mirror finish.
