Leather boots are one of the most popular smuggled goods in Primorye. This was announced by 24 in January at a press conference on the results of the DVTU in the 2010 year and prospects for the 2011 year, said the head of the DVTU Sergey Pashko.

“A high-quality examination of shoes is carried out by a branch of the expert forensic service, this allows us to quickly identify fakes and contraband,” said Sergei Pashko.
According to the Far Eastern Customs Administration, among the identified counterfeit goods, a large share is occupied by UGG and ECCO brands. Their fakes are imported most often.
