Kotofey maintains last year's sales level

Against the backdrop of a general recession, the Kotofey brand has demonstrated stability. In the first half of 2015, Mila's sales of children's shoes of the Kotofey brand in bulk reached 136 thousand pairs, which corresponds to the level of the previous year.

“In our country, a decline in production is observed everywhere. The footwear sector is no exception. Due to the devaluation of the ruble, commodities have risen in price and purchasing power has decreased. All this is broadcasted to wholesale companies. We do not know of any manufacturers or distributors who can boast of an increase in the economic performance of their business in the first half of 2015 compared to 2014. Certainly, some had less recession, others more. Mila's sales volumes also did not resist and declined. The percentage of the fall is not critical, but still there is a minus sign in the trading results ", - noted the senior manager of Mila - wholesale footwear" Andrey Osnovin.

“In all this, I am glad that we managed to maintain the traditionally high base of wholesale sales of Kotofey children's footwear. Moreover, we analyzed Mila's customer base and saw that retail stores, in the assortment of which relied on the Kotofey brand, retained last year's performance, and some even managed to demonstrate growth. This instills confidence and optimism for the second half of 2015. Preparation for it is just around the corner, ”added a company representative.
