Lacoste is stepping up its expansion in Spain, opening a pop-up in Madrid and a boutique in Gran Canaria.

French sportswear and footwear brand Lacoste has opened a pop-up store in Madrid at 46 Gran Via, which will be open until November 23. As part of its expansion strategy in Spain, the brand has also opened a boutique in Gran Canaria, reports Fashion Network.

The design of the pop-up shop in Madrid reflects the atmosphere of a winter ski resort and is called "Chalet Lacoste." It features a photo booth shaped like a cable car and an après-ski bar serving chocolate and churros.

The space features key pieces from the brand's Christmas collection. To access the pop-up store, visitors must join the Lacoste Members loyalty program.

There is also a permanent Lacoste store on Madrid's Gran Via, at number 51, with windows also decorated in a chalet style.

A new Lacoste store recently opened in Gran Canaria, in the Varadero shopping center in Maspalomas. The 125-square-meter store is designed in line with the brand's Le Club concept and features women's, men's, and children's collections, as well as special collections such as the "Pre-Line," available from day one. This is the second Lacoste Le Club store on the Spanish island. The brand currently has four stores in the Canary Islands featuring this concept, including locations in the Siam Mall and Américas Plaza shopping centers in Tenerife.

Lacoste, present in 98 markets through a network of more than 1100 points of sale, recorded an 8% increase in revenue in the 2024 financial year, approaching 3 billion euros.
