Lacoste Returns to 80 and Restarts Missouri M85 Sneaker Model

A year ago, the managers of the Lacoste brand, which is better known for its sportswear, stated that shoes will become an important component of the brand’s assortment. According to the head of the company Thierry Guibert, sales of shoes in the future should make up about a third of the turnover of its business.

A year later, Lacoste again reminds everyone of its plans to restart its once-very popular Missouri M85 sneaker.

Missouri M85 sneakers model can be called one of the most successful shoe models for Lacoste, in the year of its release, 1985, it showed very good sales, and formed the basis for other brand shoes. At 2018, Lacoste decided to release sneakers in an updated design.

The new version of the Lacoste Missouri M85 retro sneaker has a more restrained design. The top is made of high quality genuine leather, based on white color, which is complemented by details of contrasting red or green colors. The same combination of two colors is present on the sole of the shoe. On the side of the top of the sneaker you can see the well-known "toothy" logo.

Recently, a sports brand owned by the private Swiss group Maus Frères SA has been demonstrating its versatility, progressive thinking and proximity to subcultural movements. Lacoste managed to collaborate with Supreme and a number of Japanese brands, including the new brand of former Comme de Garcon designer Chitose Abe - Sacai.

The updated model of Lacoste Missouri M85 sneakers from today (October 15) is presented in a number of stores of the brand’s retail store, which today has about 1200 stores around the world, as well as on lacoste.com.
