At the end of the year, French fashion brand Lacoste released a collaboration with Maison Château Rouge, a Parisian brand founded by the “ultra-creative African diaspora,” writes FashionNetwork.
The collaboration reflects a dialogue between two worlds: the French sporty chic embodied by Lacoste and the urban and colourful aesthetic of Maison Château Rouge.
The joint collection includes sneakers, as well as eight items of clothing, including a leather jacket.
The sneakers' design is based on original combinations of textures and colors, with the accent being the contrasting stitching and the golden crocodile - the permanent Lacoste logo, which in this case, among other things, is a reference to the miniature Akan weights used to measure the weight of gold in West Africa. The price of a pair of sneakers is 160 euros.
