Lamoda personalized the catalog using artificial intelligence

Lamoda, an online platform for the sale of fashion, beauty and lifestyle products, has simplified and accelerated the process of searching for products in its catalog. With the help of artificial intelligence, the service has learned to predict which products will be of interest to a particular user, and shows him these products at the top of the issue.

Smart delivery of goods will make the shopping process even more comfortable. The Lamoda catalog contains more than 500 thousand products, so that the user does not spend extra time scrolling through the feed and choosing the ideal option for himself, the service publishes potentially interesting product offers at the top of the issue. For personalization, information is analyzed and used about what brands, colors and styles a particular client was interested in, in what price range purchases were made, as well as dozens of other factors.

The personalized catalog is available to users of the Lamoda mobile application on iOS and Android, the web version of the site.

“The choice of clothes by specific users is very much dependent on individual preferences. Catalog personalization greatly simplifies the life of our client - with the help of ML algorithms, we predict these preferences and try to show the user what he likes, what he wants to buy. Developing our catalog, we are moving towards our strategic goal - to be the most convenient platform for buying fashion, beauty and lifestyle products,” comments Kira Matveeva, Product Director at Lamoda.
