Lamoda will make money on logistics

Lamoda, a major online retailer, has decided to sell its logistics services to other clothing and footwear sellers. The Internet retailer has already agreed with several international brands to provide services for the storage of goods, assembly, packaging and delivery of their orders.

Lamoda will sell logistics services to companies in the markets of Russia and the CIS from 2016. Now the company has a distribution center in Bykov (more than 20 000 sq. M, capacity - up to 8 million items), as well as 50 transit warehouses, a fleet of more than 500 cars.

Other online retailers provide their logistics services to offline retailers - for example, KupiVip, Ozon, Otto Group launched this direction about two years ago.
