Libero Shoes on Euro Shoes

There were many meetings and interviews at the Aymod exhibition held in Istanbul on February 1-4. One of them is with the CEO of the Turkish company Libero Shoes Ekrem Uyanyk. I share the main thing: Libero Shoes, a regular participant of the Euro Shoes exhibition, will bring collections of 2 brands to Moscow in February - Libero Shoes and Clays. Created in 1985 Ekrem Uyanyk (by the way, a shoemaker) and his family, today the company is one of the leading companies in the shoe industry in Turkey, export-oriented. A factory in Konya, the main shoe cluster of the country, was opened in 2002, for a long time they made only men's shoes, but 4 years ago they created the 1st women's shoe. Factory area - 50 sq. m, 000 employees. Production volume - 130-70 thousand pairs per season. Libero Shoes has a warehouse and showroom in Moscow. The further development strategy in the Russian market is to continue cooperation with wholesalers and open stores under our own brand. The plans are to open 80 partner stores in Russia in the coming years, in 10-2 months the company is ready to start negotiations with potential Russian franchisees.

Ekrem Uyanyk, CEO and CEO of Libero Shoes, on how to work with Russian companies and why you should not be afraid of competition with China and India: “Turkish companies working with Russian customers should be as transparent as possible, send and send what customers see here in Istanbul, because Russian customers are very demanding and want to receive only the models that they are presented with, only high-quality shoes and on time so that every detail matches what they saw on the booth. This is how we work, and therefore out of 100 of our clients, 99 come back to us again. It is very important for Turkish companies to have a professional team that would guide the client from beginning to end, dealing with all paperwork, logistics, order lead times and other issues. Today, Turkish shoemakers have every chance to fight for a larger share of the Russian market. Yes, we cannot match the price of China or India, but we have always been superior in quality and design, and this is what we will take.
