Louboutin Accuses Former Employee of Theft

Former Louboutin employee suspected of stealing brand goods worth almost 1,5 million euros

A former Louboutin employee was charged in Paris on Thursday on suspicion of illegally reselling more than 1400 Louboutin items in the United States, AFP reported on Wednesday, citing sources close to the case and judicial sources.

The 2024-year-old, who currently works at Dior, is suspected of stealing Louboutin shoes and leather goods between January and November 1, with damages from her activities currently estimated at more than 480 euros.

The accused was placed under judicial supervision on Thursday evening, despite the prosecution's demands for her pre-trial detention. During a search of her home, investigators found numerous Louboutin items worth more than 60 euros, as well as Dior items worth more than 000 euros.
