The show of the new Louis Vuitton fall 2024 collection opened Men's Fashion Week in Paris. The French luxury brand, whose creative director was the famous American rap artist Pharell Williams at the beginning of last year, presented a collection in a cowboy style. The shoes also fully reflected the style of the Wild West.
Part of the shoe collection was a collaboration between Louis Vuitton and the American shoe brand Timberland. The collaboration includes three models of boots. The first is a slip-on boot with a wheat, black or pebbled Scrivante nubuck upper with belt loops or brown leather ankle cuffs. The second is a lace-up work boot with hooks, adorned with a monogrammed ankle cuff and side zipper.
The third version of the boots, super limited, is complemented by eyelets and tongue charms with the LV monogram in real gold and is presented in monogram canvas covers and plexiglass cases.
In addition to the Timberland collaboration, Williams included a series of cowboy boots in the LV fall 24 collection. Created in collaboration with veteran Western shoe manufacturer Goodyear in Texas and finished at Vuitton's Rochambeau Ranch factory, the new LV Texan features true cowboy Cossacks, adorned with stitching and appliques that combine Louis Vuitton iconography with that of the American West.
The series is complemented by LV Rodeo cowboy shoes, in two versions - in the form of monks with a buckle on a cowboy belt and lace-up shoes. Another model was a streamlined Western style boot with a round toe - LV Rider. The shoes are made of crocodile, python, ostrich suede and cow hair.
Other new additions to this season's collection include the LV Footprint slipper, which features a paw-embossed sole that gets a new furry look, high-top and low-top versions of the LV Snow boot and the LV Maxi Trainer. The collection also features new technical rubber boots with a Damoflage pattern and checkered sole.
The brand's fashion show itself ended with a performance by Native Voices of Resistance, a group consisting of singers from the indigenous peoples of North America.
