The French fashion house Louis Vuitton, which until now has offered the service of personalizing bags, luggage, leather accessories, today offers to personalize men's sneakers, too, writes Footwearnews.
The service is available in select luxury brand stores around the world. Made in Louis Vuitton's own workshop in Italy, the sneaker design combinations are virtually endless.
You can choose three finishes from regular and exotic leather. You can sew sneakers entirely from calfleather or completely from crocodile leather, or you can use a mix of two leather options.
On the sneaker there are 13 zones on which you can experiment, including the sole, heels, tongue, laces. The client can choose the color and print options. Nine color options are offered - dark blue, bright red, orange, sunny yellow, bright purple, cognac, pure black and pure white.
Initials can be applied to the outside of the heel or to the side of the shoe. In the latter case, the letters may be in the gap of the famous Louis Vuitton stripes, just as they are located on the personalized bags of the brand.
The production time for personalized sneakers is five weeks, and the prices for making shoes start from 750 euros for the base model (without exotic) and from 3000 euros for the manufacture of sneakers with any exotic detail.
