The St. Petersburg designer shoe workshop Mark Levillen presented a spring collection of summer ballet shoes decorated with voluminous flowers made of hand-made leather. Like living dandelions, bells, forget-me-nots decorate the uppers of the shoes made of suede in delicate shades of blue.
The shoe collection is complemented by handbags in the same tone as the shoes, also decorated with flowers, but two removable flaps that come with the bag give the owner a choice - to decorate it with a flower or not, if a more universal option is needed. The collection also includes leather cardholders in the same delicate spring tones with a dandelion print.
The new Mark Levillen collection fully reveals the talent of the brand's designer Lena Lozhkina, who manually creates flowers from leather that look like real ones. Suede combines perfectly with leather elements, creating an interesting contrast and emphasizing their volume.
"Each flower is handcrafted and therefore unique. We use high-quality leather to achieve the desired thickness, texture and color. The process includes cutting, shaping and dyeing so that each flower looks natural and attractive. This is very painstaking work, requiring great perseverance and attention to every detail, but the result is definitely worth the effort!", comments Lena Lozhkina.
The collection is already presented on the Mark Levillen website. A pair of Bloom ballet flats is offered at a price of 33 thousand rubles, a bag - 26500 rubles, a Flora cardholder - 3900 rubles.
