Labeling reached marketplaces

On July 29, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a resolution according to which, from March 1, 2023, marketplaces will be required to label goods, and online platforms will be held liable for the lack of labeling, Kommersant writes.

Marketplace providers will have to label goods, but online platforms will be responsible for the lack of labeling. In addition, marketplaces will be required to transfer information about the movement of goods to the Chestny Znak labeling system.
