Shoes of Prey recognized as the best e-commerce company

At the end of last week, the traditional 2011 Web Awards were presented among website developers and Internet business owners.

The most difficult topic of the year, according to the jury, was “Electronic Commerce”. One of the pioneers in this area is the Australian brand Shoes of Prey, which entered the global market in 2009. The company is using the internet to give shoppers the ability to create their own pair of shoes - at a convenient time and for a reasonable price.

According to Michael Fox, one of the founders of the company, the key to success is simplicity, the buyer should not feel like he is buying something complicated. “Behind the curtains of the site, there are many complexities, this is a very laborious production process. We wanted to hide all this from the customer and make the interface as simple and convenient as possible, including from a design point of view, ”says Mr. Fox.

Now the site is even more improved and offers to design shoes with the help of an 3D designer - this creates a visual image of shoes that is as close as possible to their actual embodiment.
