According to the jury, the most difficult topic of the year was E-Commerce. One of the pioneers in this area is the Australian brand Shoes of Prey, which entered the world market in 2009. The company uses the Internet to provide customers the opportunity to create their own pair of shoes - at a time convenient for them and for a reasonable price.
According to Michael Fox, one of the founders of the company, the key to success is simplicity, the buyer should not feel that he is buying something complicated. “Behind the backstage of the site there are many difficulties, it is a very labor-intensive production process. We wanted to hide all this from the customer, and make the interface as simple and convenient as possible, including from a design point of view, ”says Mr. Fox.
Now the site is even more improved and offers to design shoes with the help of an 3D designer - this creates a visual image of shoes that is as close as possible to their actual embodiment.
