Italy's leading international exhibition of footwear and accessories MICAM returns to a three-day format, the next event will be held from September 15 to 17, and not to September 18 as previously announced, Giovanna Ceolini, president of the Association of Italian Footwear Manufacturers, said in an interview with Worldfootwear.com ( Assocalzaturifici), the organizer of the event. The venue remains the same - the Milan exhibition center Fierra Milano Rho.
The decision to shorten the exhibition period was made by the organizers of MICAM in response to feedback from exhibitors who prefer to concentrate on days with the greatest influx of buyers, noting that a business visit of 48 hours is as productive as possible.
The exhibition “has always been a platform where shoe companies not only present their collections, but also, thanks to the international audience of operators, flesh out business opportunities. Their contribution to the success of the exhibition is irreplaceable,” explained Giovanna Ceolini, president of the Association of Italian Shoe Manufacturers (Assocalzaturifici). “An event that runs shorter certainly results in lower costs, and although this entails inconvenience for us as organizers, we certainly support this decision.”
She assured that even more MICAM initiatives and new products will be presented to the public in the coming months.
