Million Crocs in Russia

Crocs recorded the sale of the millionth pair of shoes in Russia. An iconic pair of female boaters from the spring-summer collection was purchased at the Crocs company store in the Mega shopping center in Rostov-on-Don.

The brand’s products are represented in more than 350 outlets throughout the country, and the company's sales in Russia are growing at a rate exceeding 80% per year. “Our team is actively working to ensure that bright, innovative and comfortable Crocs shoes are available to customers in all Russian regions. The sale of the millionth pair symbolizes the progress that we have made since the start of Crocs sales in Russia 5 years ago, ”says Eric Petit, Crocs CEO for Russia and the CIS.

Presented on the Russian market since 2008, Crocs offers more than 300 of various styles - the legendary clogs, sneakers, sandals, boots and even high-heeled shoes. Collections of innovative shoes are sold both in our own and franchised stores. Thanks to the active development of the wholesale business, brand products are represented in all major cities of the country. Crocs shoes and accessories are also available to customers on the Internet, including in the official online store of the brand www.crocs.ru.

Crocs team in Russia is constantly looking for innovative solutions in order to be closer to the Russian customer. So, in early May 2013, a new concept store was opened in the Okhotny Ryad shopping center in Moscow. The modern approach to organizing the retail space allows us to effectively present the Crocs assortment, which now includes not only shoes, but also various accessories - socks, bags, jewelry, and children's clothes.

A year ago, at the Flacon design factory in Moscow, the company created the first and only Crocs studio in the world - a creative space that combines the functions of a store, showroom and venue for brand events. Visitors to Crocs Studio can not only purchase the latest news, but also have a good time playing table football, watching a video and discussing fashion news with a cup of tea or coffee.

Considering the peculiarities of Russian weather conditions, Crocs, known all over the world primarily for its summer models, also presents warm shoes for the winter season in Russia. According to the results of the 2012 year, sales of insulated models - winter boots and boots - amounted to more than 40% of the total sales of the company in the winter in Russia. Recall that Crocs was founded in 2002 by three friends from Boulder, Colorado, USA, who wanted to create the perfect sailing shoes. Ten years later, the company presents on the market more than 300 models of different styles for all seasons. Each pair of Crocs ™ contains Croslite ™, an innovative, patented polymer that makes all Crocs shoes soft, light and comfortable. Crocs worldwide sales exceed 1 billion dollars.
