Belgian-based fashion brand MM6 Maison Margiela and French athletic shoe brand Salomon have launched a collaborative sneaker collection for the fall/winter 2023 season.
The collection includes two models of shoes that claim to be collectibles for shoe lovers. According to a fashionnetwork.com article, the result of the collaboration was "a mix of whimsical non-conformity with a touch of high technology."
The first model of the collaboration - MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon Cross Low - low trapezoid-shaped sneakers, the second model MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon Cross High - high sneakers designed for trekking.
“We wanted to create a shoe that could be used for both the city and the outdoors – a unique product that maintains Salomon’s high performance standards while still echoing Maison Margiela’s contemporary MM6 aesthetic,” the press release reads. Margiela release.
