The Honest SIGN mobile application is already working
The number of downloads of the Honest SIGN application, with which customers can verify the legality of marked products, has been installed more than 105 thousand times. The number of scans for three months from the moment of its launching the application amounted to more than 1,1 million times.
The Center for the Advancement of Advanced Technologies (RTCT), which is the operator of the mandatory product labeling system, notes: “The number of scans of shoes is growing exponentially - over the past month their number has grown 11 times. At the same time, the active promotion of the application has not yet started. ”
Currently, the application allows you to check the labeling codes of medicines, shoes and cigarettes, in the near future it will be possible to check perfumes, tires, cameras and light industry products. Over time, the buyer will be able to check the finished dairy products and other categories for which mandatory labeling will be introduced.
“We understand that those who already use the application are people who are interested in a tool of public control and who want to make sure on their own that the medicine, shoes or cigarettes that they buy are legal, high-quality and safe. In addition to a simple code check, the application, for example, already has the “Tasks” functionality, with which customers can now control stores selling cigarettes - by scanning codes on a pack and checks, identifying who is selling incorrectly - without transferring information to the system about sales, ”says Revaz Yusupov, deputy director general of the central distribution control center.
Advanced Technology Development Center is a joint project of USM (USEM Technologies, 50%), Rostec Group (25%) and Elvis-Plus Group of A. Galitsky (25%). Operator-CRPT, a subsidiary of the center, was appointed operator of the state information system for monitoring the turnover of goods subject to mandatory labeling (Government Decree No. 620-r). CRPT, on the basis of a public-private partnership, is creating a Unified National System for Digital Marking and Tracking of Goods in Russia. The center also participates in the creation of a supranational digital platform of the EEC, organizes the localization of the production of equipment for marking, works on the creation of a National catalog of goods, and produces fiscal drives for online cash registers.
