Moscow Fashion Week announces designer show schedule

It became known the schedule of shows at the Moscow Fashion Week, which will be held from 20 to 26 June.

More than 120 Russian designers will present their collections at the main site in Zaryadye Park. The program of the event includes 69 fashion shows by designers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ivanov, Kemerovo, Kirov, Krasnoyarsk, Murmansk, Nalchik, Samara and Tver. Already well-known designers and brands will take part in them, such as: AKHMADULLINA, Julia Dalakian, VICTORIA ANDREYANOVA, IANIS CHAMALIDY, MASTERPEACE. Debut shows will be held by: STUDIO 29, Dima Magniy. As part of the schedule, designers who support and develop the theme of sustainability will also present their collections: ABZAEVA, BEENA, JENESAQ, Gerda Irene and others.

Shows of famous Russian designers will be special projects at Moscow Fashion Week: Slava Zaitsev show will take place on June 20, and VALENTIN YUDASHKIN show on June 26.

Muscovites and guests of the capital will be able to attend open collective shows of students and graduates of well-known educational institutions in Moscow, which train specialists in the field of "clothes design". So, the Grand Amphitheater will host shows: Moscow Art-Industrial Institute, "Vivat, MHPI!" (June 21, at 13:00), SERGEY SYSOEV Fashion School KOSYGIN UNIVERSITY (June 22, at 13:00), METRICS Branding and Design Academy (June 23, at 13:00), British Higher School of Design (June 24, at 13:00), Institute of Business and Design (June 26, at 13:00).

“There are a lot of talented designers in Russia. For the first time, a fashion event of such a scale is being held in the capital - tens of thousands of guests will be able to visit Moscow Fashion Week. Those who cannot come to the capital these days will have the opportunity to see the shows online on the official website,” said Alexei Fursin, Head of the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development.

From 23 to 26 June, from 13:00 to 21:00, an open market of Russian brands will be open in Zaryadye, where 58 brands will present clothes, shoes and accessories in various directions and styles. The organization of the market will be supervised by the store of independent local streetwear brands LCLS.RU.

The space of the Fashion Museum in Gostiny Dvor will turn into a showroom for a week, a networking platform where leading buyers can get acquainted with the collections of designers. More than 100 buyers from 25 Russian cities will visit the professional showroom.

Moscow Fashion Week will be held throughout Moscow. In addition to Zaryadye Park, screenings will take place at VDNKh and Tverskaya Square. Guests and residents of the capital will be able to watch shows at VDNKh near the Friendship of Peoples fountain, as well as musical performances by Pompeya, Riad Mammadov and his ensemble, Shanyana & Guru Groove Foundation, DJ Fyodor Fomin and others.
