Moscow Fashion Week will be held in the Russian capital from March 1 to 8 at two venues - in the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege" and in pavilion No. 75 at VDNKh - one of the spaces of the International Exhibition and Forum "Russia".
Fashion shows will be held at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall from March 2 to March 7. Designers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Ulan-Ude and other Russian cities will present their collections. As part of the bilateral cooperation agreements signed at the BRICS+ Fashion Summit, foreign fashion designers also participate in the shows.
On show days, from 13:00 to 21:00, there will be a market at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall where guests can purchase clothes, shoes and accessories from domestic brands. A B2B showroom will also open here.
Guests of the Manege are invited to attend the lecture “The Past, Present and Future of Fashion in Russia.” In the format of public talks, discussions and lectures, fashion industry professionals will discuss how to learn to anticipate trends, talk about the Russian trace in world fashion, modern trends in multimedia, digital fashion and much more. Among the speakers are fashion historian Anatol Vovk, trend analyst and stylist of the fashion house SERGEY SYSOEV, member of the Union of Designers of Russia Olga Sysoeva, curator of educational programs at the Faculty of Fashion and Style at the BHSD and lecturer at Moscow Fashion Week Anna Rykova and other experts. Pavilion No. 75 at VDNKh will host open screenings for residents and guests of the capital. New collections will be presented by designers from Ufa, Elista, Kazan, Samara, Kirov and other Russian cities.
Shows of Russian and foreign brands will be broadcast in the official community of Moscow Fashion Week on the VKontakte social network.
1038 applications were received from designers from 151 cities in 72 regions of Russia to participate in Moscow Fashion Week. They were reviewed by an expert council. More than 120 designers received invitations to participate in fashion shows, including 68 in the open market and 50 in the B2B showroom.
