The Obuv Rossii group of companies received state guarantees for the opening of a new shoe production in Cherkessk (Karachay-Cherkessia), the head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the KChR Eldar Tlyabichev told Interfax-Yug.

Obuv Rossii GC and the KChR government signed a memorandum of cooperation within the framework of the XI International Investment Forum Sochi-2012.

“The company intends to build a footwear factory with a capacity of one million pairs per year. This company has already received government guarantees of 30% of the total project cost. The company passed the commission in the Ministry of Regional Development, some checks of the Ministry of Finance and VEB remained, but it can be considered that this year it received state guarantees, ”said the head of the ministry.

Earlier it was reported that the factory will reach full capacity by 2017. The lender of the project, the goal of which is to create a modern full-cycle shoe production in Cherkessk, is OJSC AKB International Financial Club (MFK Bank). The shoe factory will include a cutting and sewing workshop, an assembly workshop, and a workshop for the production of shoe bottoms. The project involves the purchase, renovation and equipping of a building with an area of ​​8 thousand square meters. meters and a phased launch of production with full capacity in 4 years. The products of the new factory will be sold in the main shoe chain of Obuv Rossii, the Westfalika chain, which numbers more than 160 stores in 56 cities of Russia.

Obuv Rossii's revenue in 2011 was 2,2 billion rubles, the plan for 2012 is 3,2 billion rubles, Interfax.ru reports.
