Almost 40% of trading places are empty on the markets of Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk, 60,7% of retail locations are actually used in retail markets. The lowest level of use of outlets was recorded in the North Yenisei region, where only 9,3% of the seats are occupied on the market.

The markets of the Dzerzhinsky district are occupied only by 29,2%, Zelenogorsk - by 38,1%. At the same time, 100% of trading places are occupied in the retail markets of Ermakovsky, Kuraginsky and Uzhursky districts, as well as in the cities of Zheleznogorsk and Sharypovo.

Statisticians note that sales volumes in clothing and mixed markets and fairs of the region are also decreasing. Sales in 2010 amounted to RUB 22,4 billion. and decreased in comparison with 2009 by 10,9%, according to the Krasnoyarsk public and business newspaper "Delo".

In total, 1 retail markets were operating in the Krasnoyarsk Territory as of January 2011, 52. Of the total number of markets, 32 are universal, 17 are clothing markets, 1 market is agricultural, 2 markets specialize in the sale of food products.The largest number of retail markets (41) is concentrated in urban areas, including 9 in Krasnoyarsk, 6 in Norilsk, 4 - in Achinsk and Kansk, 3 - in Lesosibirsk, Minusinsk and Sharypovo. 41% of trade places in the markets are occupied by clothing sellers, 9,6% - by shoe sellers.
