The supply volume in the second quarter of 2014 for the retail real estate segment of Moscow in the rental market did not change significantly, RRG consulting company said.
In the second quarter, the supply volume of commercial real estate leases increased by 10% in quantity and 1% in terms of total area. The supply volume for the total area increased by 26% in the center and decreased by 1% outside.
The average rental rate for shopping facilities within the center of the capital in the second quarter of 2014 decreased by 1%, amounting to $ 1824 / sq. M / year. The average rental rate for shopping facilities outside the Garden Ring has not changed and amounted to $ 921 / sq. M / year.
The supply volume of street retail format rental facilities increased by 11% in number and decreased by 1% in total area.
The average rental rate for street retail facilities in the center of Moscow in the second quarter was $ 2144 / sq. M / year, which is 5% less than in the previous quarter. The average rental rate for shopping facilities outside the Garden Ring decreased by 2%, to $ 1069 / sq. M / year.
