The Arbitration Court of the Tyumen region ruled on the bankruptcy of one of the largest shoe enterprises in the Tyumen region of the Ishim shoe factory.
The debt of the enterprise to the tax authorities in December 2018 of the year amounted to 7,6 million rubles. But despite the fact that the factory paid part of the debt and today the IFTS claims on the debt to the factory amount to 3,8 million rubles, the court decided to introduce a monitoring procedure at the enterprise.
According to Viktor Stepanov, Director General of Ishim Shoe Factory OJSC, the company expects to repay the debt by selling a site owned by the organization (about 70 hundred parts) for the construction of a residential building of Ishimagrostroy OJSC. The sale of the site will bring the factory 4 million rubles and it will be able to pay off the debt. Stepanov is sure that bankruptcy proceedings will not occur.
However, for several years the factory has not been conducting core business. The company leases part of the space and provides shoe repair services.
It is noted that in 1989, up to 2 million pairs of shoes a year were produced at Ishim shoe factory. The factory specialized in the production of work and children's shoes.
