MICAM noted a decrease in the number of visitors from Russia and Ukraine

Yesterday in Milan, the largest international professional exhibition of shoes, MICAM, completed its work. 88 exhibition was held, the number of visitors to the event was 44076 people.

About 60% of exhibition visitors came from abroad. MICAM executives note a significant number of guests from China and Hong Kong. At 10%, the flow of visitors to the exhibition who arrived from Switzerland increased. Visiting the exhibition by guests from European countries remained at about the same level. At the same time, attendance at the exhibition from Russia (-12,85) and Ukraine (-8,68) has significantly decreased. The number of MICAM exhibitors amounted to 1303 companies.

This year, the MICAM exhibition celebrated the 50 anniversary. On this occasion, the exposition It's Shoe Time was presented at the event, which demonstrated the development of shoe fashion from the 70's. to the present day.

Another feature of the past MICAM was the new Players District space. This part of the exhibition was created specifically for the presentation of sports and outdoor shoes - a segment that today attracts the maximum attention of buyers and consumers and requires shoe manufacturers to constantly invest in new technologies.

The next MICAM exhibition will be held from February 16 to February 19 on November 2020 and will present collections of autumn-winter 2020 / 21 brands.
