According to the consulting company NF GROUP in St. Petersburg, by the end of the first quarter of 2025, the share of vacant street retail space on the main part of Nevsky Prospekt (from the Admiralty to Vosstaniya Square) was less than 1%, reaching its minimum level in the last eight years.
On average, the indicator for the entire Nevsky Prospect fell from 4% to 3% over the first three months of 2025, while on Staro-Nevsky, on the contrary, the share of empty premises increased to 7%. The number of openings on the main part of the avenue exceeded the number of closures (7 versus 3), while on Staro-Nevsky the opposite trend is observed (4 versus 8).
In Q2025 156, the rotation of tenants on Staro-Nevsky Prospekt affected boutiques and fashion brands to a lesser extent compared to last year. Of the main changes in the fashion segment, only two can be noted - the Comme des Garçons boutique vacated the premises on Nevsky Prospekt, 154, where the Garcon confectionery opened, and the French brand Eres left Staro-Nevsky Prospekt, and now the opening of the first boutique of the Russian designer brand Lesel in St. Petersburg is expected in its place (Nevsky Prospekt, XNUMX). In addition, two lounge bars, a bank branch, an optician, a clothing store and a grocery store closed on Staro-Nevsky. The vacated premises have not yet been occupied by new tenants, which has led to an increase in vacancy in the location.
The first offline cosmetics store WNDR beauty is expected to open on Staro-Nevsky Prospect in the former premises of the Tag Heuer watch salon (Nevsky Prospect, 117). Cosmetics and perfumery stores have not opened on this part of the city's main street for more than two years.
