A total of 1047 applications have already been submitted for participation in the seventh Moscow Fashion Week, which will take place in the Russian capital from September 26 to October 1. Approximately half of these (494) were submitted by designers whose collections were not presented in previous seasons of the event.
The final list of participants will be announced by an expert council, which includes editors-in-chief of specialized publications, stylists, buyers, and heads of major retail platforms.
"The new season attracted industry representatives from 63 regions of Russia. The largest number of applications came from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, and Krasnoyarsk," said Natalya Sergunina.
The event will feature both domestic and international brands presenting their collections. Lectures by leading experts and the World Fashion Shorts short film festival are also planned. Everyone will be able to purchase clothing, footwear, and accessories at the fashion market.
