Sales of entrepreneurs from abroad increased on Wildberries

Sales of products from neighboring countries at Wildberries increased by 96% year-on-year to RUB 18,5 billion. for the 1st half of 2022, the Company is strengthening the logistics infrastructure in neighboring countries. The number of business representatives from neighboring countries over the same period increased 12 times to 69.  

“We are strengthening the logistics infrastructure: we launched a distribution center in Armenia, thanks to which direct sales became available to the entrepreneurs of the country, we expanded the logistics center in Kazakhstan by 2,5 times to 10 sq. m. This led to an even more active transition of local business representatives to e-commerce, ”the Wildberries press service said.

The active transition of entrepreneurs from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan was also a consequence of the dynamic growth in demand for products manufactured from the EAEU countries: its sales at Wildberries increased by 96% year-on-year to 18,5 billion rubles. for the 1st half of 2022

Wildberries is the largest online retailer in Russia, operating on the market for 17 years. The geography of the company's presence covers all regions of Russia, as well as a number of foreign countries, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, etc. The turnover of Wildberries in 2021 increased by 93% and reached 844 billion rubles, and in the 1st half of 2022 it amounted to 628,7 billion rubles. (+94%). Every day, 4 million orders are placed on Wildberries, the monthly audience of the online retailer is over 120 million users (MAU).

As of August 2022, over 895 entrepreneurs sell their goods through Wildberries. The Wildberries range includes about 000 million SKUs of goods from 35 Russian and foreign brands: clothing and footwear, accessories, beauty products, children's products, appliances and electronics, household goods, jewelry, food, books, digital goods and much more . About 525% of goods are produced in Russia.
