The Lida shoe factory produced the first batches of terry shoes, slippers for use in hotels and other institutions. Terry material and EVA sole (ethylene vinyl acetate) are used to produce slippers. At the request of the customer, a logo is applied to the shoes. The first 10 thousand pairs of hotel shoes were produced, which were sold in hotels in Minsk, Lida, and Belorussia agricultural estates.
One more type of new production of the enterprise has become oil shale. The company mastered their production on new Italian equipment. On the same equipment in the near future in Lida intend to start producing orthopedic insoles for children. Products are certified.
In connection with the receipt of orders, the factory increases the production of work shoes, the production of which was mastered last year. Boots, low boots and boots with oil-resistant soles are supplied to JSC "Belaruskali", JSC "Atlant", PO "Minsk Tractor Plant", JSC "Lakokraska" and other enterprises and organizations.
According to the import substitution program, last year the production of shoes from felt on polyurethane soles (children's, women's and men's collections) of the original design was mastered. By winter, it is planned to release 10 thousand pairs of such boots. About 30% of felt shoes will be sold abroad.
Every year, the factory develops up to 600 shoe models. About 20% of the best new products goes into production. Today, the factory produces more than 250 samples of various shoes designed for different categories of customers.
According to the company, the investment project on technical re-equipment, which has been implemented at the factory since 2007 of the year, allowed to update the product range, improve shoe design. A bank loan of Br7,5 billion was attracted to finance it. Modernization of production will continue. At their own expense they plan to purchase equipment for sewing shoes with programmed management worth 150 thousand euros. Two such complexes are planned to be acquired this year. The company has 15 branded stores, including 7 in the Grodno region. About 25% of products are sold through stores. In the first half of the year, the company exported about 30% of products.
